You will ensure scaffold erection, dismantling and alteration operations are performed in accordance with procedure and best practice to support the timely delivery of contracts and client requirements. You will also develop and implement controls and planning methodologies to maximise productivity and performance.
Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with all company procedures and policies.
Ensure compliance with COP 2018 , TG20, SG4 and construction regulations.
Provide clear and consistent communications and instructions.
Act as the main point of contact for planning and executing all scaffold related tasks providing weekly management information pertaining to planning, KPI tracking and resource requirements.
Ensure efficiency and high productivity through good communication, understanding of project objectives and by always maintaining close and productive working relationships.
Checking Point of Work Assessments are completed for all tasks.
Manage appropriate documentation including scaffolding and labour requests, timesheets and daily allocation sheets etc.
Forecast, promote and coordinate the training and development of scaffolding staff.
Support the management of risks, issues, dependencies, resources, budgets, benefits, stakeholders and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor the progress of planned activities against the baseline plan, logging delays and reporting gains and slippages in programme in a timely manner.
Ensure a safe and secure working environment, ensuring all safety and manufacturing guidelines are followed.
Contribute towards the overall business performance and growth of the organisation.
Requirements:
Appropriate CISRS Card
CIF Site Supervisors safety training / IOSH Managing Safety / Site supervisors safety training scheme.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the scaffold industry.
Qualified in Layher and experience of SG4 and TG20 in scaffolding management.
Good planning skills to achieve standards and targets within given timescales.
Experience in managing risks, issues and opportunities, and mitigating risks identified.
Excellent ability to translate complex technical information into clear instructions.
Knowledge of systems such as Plettac Matrix, Layher, Cup Lock etc.
Ability to think quickly and implement safety practices.
Ability to understand technical drawings and plans.
Proficient with MS Suite
