Resource Manager - Events

We provide an extensive range of event infrastructure, including staging, grandstand seating, event scaffolding structures, fencing and crowd control barriers. We provide a turnkey service from initial concept, in-house design and engineering, scheduling, in-house health and safety support, on-site install, standby, derig and post event follow up.
This role is part of the Senior Management Team with responsibility of event resources including event crew, agency staff, and transport.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work. Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you
- Daily scheduling and management of event crew
- Management of agency crew – scheduling and developing supply chain relationships
- Process crew timesheets and payroll
- Booking and scheduling of transport and plant
- Updating and ownership of operational software systems
- Develop supply chain relationships across transport and crew
- Overseeing and development the event crew training matrix
- Management of operational administration staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience including in operations
- Prior experience of people management
- Confident with IT skills and learning new programs
- A high-level knowledge of Microsoft programs – Outlook, Word, Excel
- A driving license and own car is a plus because of the location of the office
- Strong communication skills and confident communicating with people at all levels of the business
- A team player, happy to support other members of the team
- A good level of written and spoken English is required
- Must be confident with numbers to follow finance and stock requirements
- The ability to organise your own workload and deal with conflicting priorities
- The role will require working in the Dublin office – flexible home working is also possible 1-2 days per week depending on the seasonal nature of the business
- The role may require some travel from time to time
